ACTIVITIES

Guided routes through the natural park of Cadí-Moixeró: guided routes by foot or bicycle, snow rackets, climbing, touristic visits... ... and many other activities guided or not like: walking, mushrooms, fishing, skiing, trekking, mountain bike, 4x4, cultural visits, popular events, gastronomy...

LANDSCAPE AND SURROUNDING

EL CATLLARÀS: A protected natural space (PEIN) known by its marvelous woods of beech, oak, pine, where grows the famous protected flower Edelweiss. A place to find different kinds of mushrooms during the whole year. On the top of the mountain there is the moon's stone balcony (La roca de la lluna) from where you can observe Lillet Valley, a panoramic view of the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró and the Pedraforca mountain.

JARDINS ARTIGAS: In Lillet Valley following a narrow meander of the Llobregat river, Antoni Gaudí projected the only wet garden of his work. Bridges, banks, fences, caverns, roundabouts, springs and animal sculptures. All perfectly integrated in the splendid nature that greets it.

ROMANIC ART: The monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet was build in the 9th century on a cross plan with a square plan cloister. Nearby we can visit “La Rotonda de Sant Miquel”, a little circular chapel built in the year 1000.

TOURISTIC TRAIN OF THE ALT LLOBREGAT: Goes from La Pobla de Lillet to the cement museum of Castellar de N'Hug stopping as well in the Jardins Artigas. The track has a total length of 3,5km (2,2 miles).

SANTUARI DE FALGARS: The hermit of the virgin of Falgars is located on 1288m (4225 feet) high, 7Km (4,35 miles) from La Pobla de Lillet by an asphalted road. It has amazing views; the mountains Montgrony and Puigmal in the east, the Catllaràs in the south, the Pedraforca, Rasos de Peguera and Ensija in the west and in the north you see the Cadí-Moixeró.

OLD TOWN: Get back to the origins of our village in the 13th century when Mataplana's family got established in the castle and began the construction of La Pobla de Lillet.

CASTELL DE LILLET: From the monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet we can go to the rock of the village's castle, where was located the refugee castle of the inhabitants of Lillet Valley.

FONT DEL BISBE: On the road to Sant Jaume de Frontanyà (at 30m (100 feet) from the farmhouse going to Ripoll on the right), following the asphalted road for 2Km (1,25 miles) you can find the path that leads you to the spring: spectacular watter fall of 12m. (40 feet) that forms a natural composition worth admiring.

Driving 30 to 40Km (18 to 25 miles) by car you can find other services like: Hospital in Berga, Golf camp and skating rink in Puigcerdà, manège in Berga and Campdevànol, water-sports center in the water reservoir of La Baells, ski-resorts school with in La Molina, Masella...
